Hung Tran Van - General Manager
Hung Tran Van brings extensive industry knowledge and proven leadership to RG Ireland | MJ Scannell Safety, serving as the driving force behind the company’s Management Team. Highly motivated and strategically focused, Hung oversees the development of company objectives, policies, financial direction, and overall strategic management. His experience spans both Corporate and SME environments, where he has successfully led multi-disciplined teams and partnered with clients across the Private and Public Sectors.
As the primary corporate link to Groupe RG, Hung plays a key role in aligning RG Ireland | MJ Scannell Safety with Group strategy, ensuring consistent communication, operational integration, and the delivery of shared standards, values and goals across the wider organisation.
Within RG Ireland | MJ Scannell Safety, Hung has led major technological advancements, including the redevelopment of the company’s ERP platform and the modernisation of its IT infrastructure. Deeply committed to people development, he has delivered comprehensive training programmes for staff across all levels, including Heads of Department. Hung continues to champion a culture rooted in respect, dignity, and equality throughout the organisation.
Since joining the company, he has introduced robust management systems that contributed to achieving ISO and BRGC accreditations and implemented an enhanced Stock Management system. His thoughtful, solutions-focused approach has been instrumental in the growth of both the Cork and Dublin operations, shaping them into the strong and successful business they are today.
Gustavo Domissini – Technical Operations Manager
Leading our Procurement Department with over 15 years in the PPE industry and working with MJ Scannell throughout those years.
Alan Creedon – Warehouse Operations Manager
Alan Creedon oversees and manages our Warehouse Operations and is a key member of the Senior Management Team at RG Ireland | MJ Scannell Safety. His extensive expertise in logistics and operations management has been instrumental in establishing MJ Scannell as one of Ireland’s leading PPE suppliers.
With over 25 years of experience in operational management, Alan has played a central role in developing and strengthening our distribution network. He excels at building and nurturing relationships both internally and externally, implementing change management initiatives, and analysing processes to optimise efficiency and performance.
Alan applies specialised knowledge and proven methodologies to ensure that MJ Scannell operates with effective, streamlined management systems. His strategic approach and operational insight continue to drive excellence across our warehouse and distribution operations.
Shiella Mae Ariloa - IT Business Technology
Shiella Mae Ariola recently joined the RG Ireland | MJ Scannell Safety team to lead the development of business technology solutions aimed at enhancing the customer experience. With a focus on innovation and efficiency, Shiella works to streamline processes, improve digital systems, and deliver tools that enable seamless interactions for both clients and internal teams. Her expertise ensures that technology supports the business in achieving operational excellence while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
Jonas Farias - Customer Operations Team Manager
Jonas Farias oversees and leads a team of highly skilled and professional Customer Operations Agents, ensuring that every interaction is handled with care, efficiency, and a focus on enhancing the overall customer experience. His attentive and hands-on approach allows him to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies that consistently elevate service standards.
With years of customer service experience across a variety of industries, Jonas brings a wealth of knowledge and insight that has been instrumental in refining MJ Scannell’s Customer Service objectives. His energy, enthusiasm, and proactive approach have strengthened the team and positively influenced the company’s culture, inspiring colleagues to deliver excellence in every customer interaction.

2004 - Cork Facility Acquired & Revenue Milestone

Acquired a large purpose-built 5,500 sq.ft. sales, showroom & warehouse facility in Little Island, Cork. Reached c.€1m of revenues from own-brand products. -
2012 - Expansion of Own Brand

Expanded own brand range with creation of two new PPE and safety- related product brands - ELK and BOA brands. -
