Trade Shops & Technical Consultation
Our Dublin head office, operational since 1986, features a 6,000 sq. ft. integrated showroom and warehouse, while our Little Island, Cork complex, operational since 2004, spans 35,000 sq. ft. of warehouse and showroom space. Both locations provide advanced measuring facilities and a highly experienced team ready to offer technical guidance, product demonstrations, and tailored PPE solutions. Our measuring and fitting services are available both onsite and offsite, catering for groups of up to 50 personnel per session, according to the client’s operational programme.
Measuring & Fitting Services
Correct fit is critical for PPE performance and wearer safety. Our Cork facility includes a fully equipped sizing and fitting suite, allowing detailed ergonomic assessment of all PPE items. Each product is evaluated to ensure compliance with relevant EN and ISO standards, optimal protection, and wearer comfort, giving clients confidence in the effectiveness of their PPE.
Uniform Packing & Deployment
We pioneered uniform packing in Ireland, offering personalised bundles that reduce in-house stock requirements and simplify workforce deployment. Since 2017, we have processed over 5,500 uniform pack orders annually, supporting scheduled monthly or annual issue cycles. Multi-location delivery and next-day dispatch ensure operational continuity, even for large-scale deployments.
In-House Heat Sealing & Embroidery
RG Ireland | MJ Scannell Safety operates fully owned heat sealing and embroidery facilities, providing precise application of corporate branding on PPE. Swatch development, logo placement, and garment-specific considerations are all managed by our specialist technical team. Our facilities handle 160,000 heat seal applications and 45,000 embroidery applications annually, all while maintaining PPE integrity (note: embroidery on waterproof garments may affect permeability).
Account Management & Technical Support
Every client is assigned a dedicated account manager and administrator, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Our team provides expert guidance on product selection, compliance, and ongoing maintenance, with a commitment to respond to customer queries within four hours. This structured support ensures PPE solutions are aligned with both operational needs and regulatory requirements.
Delivery & Logistics
We operate a robust distribution network covering national and multi-site deployments. Routine orders are managed through our own fleet in Dublin and Cork, with additional nationwide deliveries coordinated via trusted courier and pallet networks. Our logistics capabilities, combined with in-house stock, allow for reliable next-day delivery and efficient PPE management across multiple sites.
E-Commerce Solutions
Our secure eCommerce platform provides real-time stock visibility, detailed product specifications, and streamlined ordering capabilities.
